FARM MANAGER - The primary responsibility of this position is to provide a high quality and safe environment in a farm setting on a year round basis and to teach trainees the skills associated with farming and woodworking. The Farm Manager trains other staff to work as farm trainers. The Farm Manager works with the Director to develop/expand farm projects to other sites, and to market the concept of farming and related woodworking, crafts projects to include tasks for a variety of farm related projects. She/he is responsible for working as a leader and team member of TILL’s Farm Program. The Farm Manager reports directly to the Director of Vocational Services. Mon-Fri.
Qualifications:
· Must be 18 years of age or older with a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Experience in farming including crop planning and management
· Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
· Physically fit to handle farm equipment and supplies
· A valid drivers’ license and vehicle are required.
