The Physical Therapist Consultant (PT) will work with TILL's Day program(s) in Chelsea and/or Watertown in providing direct service and consultation to staff and individuals.
Responsibilities: Develop individual and group programs and activities related to Physical Therapy, in coordination with other program and clinical staff, schedules and individuals’ overall objectives and needs. Provide consultation and training to staff, individuals, and caregivers regarding individuals’ needs, PT Programs, and PT recommendations.
Qualifications: Must have a valid, current license as a PT in Massachusetts. Minimum of a BA/BS in Physical Therapy. Two years’ experience with individuals who have developmental disabilities is preferred. Strength and dexterity needed to maneuver and transfer individuals. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Must possess good computer skills. CPR and First Aid Certification are a condition of employment. Driver’s license and vehicle required.
