Description:

TILL provides essential support to adults with developmental disabilities, learning differences, acquired brain injury, and other specialized needs through a wide range of housing options, from structured, staffed, small group living to individualized support options.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is an integral position within the Human Resources Department. This position is responsible for recruiting for all positions within the agency. This position is critical to ensuring TILL’s future ability to attract and retain the best employees through growing a strong talent pipeline from schools, retirees and other professionals who want to make a difference thru a career in Human Services.

Starting salary is $22/hr. with opportunities for advancement. Schedule 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday. This position is based out of TILL's Administrative Office located in Dedham, MA. Travel throughout Greater Boston, North/South Shore and Metro West areas required.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for designing and implementing a recruiting strategy.
  • Conduct data analysis of recruitment efforts to determine future strategy and promote TILL’s reputations as “best place to work”.
  • Develop academic contacts at all levels of education, assess applicants’ and match open positions.
  • Recruit candidates by using databases and social media.
  • Be familiar with all vacancies within the agency and the available schedules.
  • Possess knowledge of each department’s individual needs.

Qualifications:

  • BA preferred. 
  • Proficient computer skills required.
  • A current driver’s license and a car are required.  
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.  
  • Excellent telephone and strong organizational skills required.  
  • Should possess a dynamic, outgoing personality to develop new areas of marketing for the next generation of human service professionals.
  • Ease in explaining the mission of human services and the satisfaction in helping others.
  • Familiarity with use of social media to attract millennials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, personable and charismatic.  
  • Confident and insightful in assessing potential talent. Independent, innovative, committed and relentless.
